Top 10 Christmas Movies

Posted on 10:30 AM by Paul Fastir
BY: GURU JAY

Seth Meyers joked that Hanukkah lasts for 2 weeks and Christmas lasts for 2 months. ‘I don’t care what the calendar says, I wish it was Christmas today.’ See this neat Saturday Night Live clip.

A Christmas Carol is my favorite on the list. I identify with Ebenezer Scrooge. The story never grows old. Are you afraid of the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future?

Have you seen The Polar Express, Elf and Four Christmases? Which is the best Santa Clause…1,2, or 3? Does How the Grinch Stole Christmas surprise you at number 1?

Without further ado, let’s look at the top 10.

Top 10

10. Christmas with the Kranks $ 74 Million
9. The Nightmare Before Christmas $ 75 M
8. The Santa Clause 3: Escape Clause $84.5 M
7. Four Christmases $120.1 M
6. A Christmas Carol $138 M
5. The Santa Clause 2 $139.2 M
4. The Santa Clause $145 M
3. Elf $173.4 Million
2. The Polar Express $183.4 M
1. How the Grinch Stole Christmas $ 260 Million

The top 10 highest grossing Christmas movies total $1.39 Billion. What is your favorite Xmas movie? Did it make the top 10? Also, are you listening to Christmas songs this season?

Jim Carrey and Tim Allen have multiple movies in the top 10. So, if you want to make a big budget Xmas flick, offer Carrey and Allen a role. Will Ferrell isn’t a bad choice either.

The holidays are all about giving. Don’t worry if you can’t give a monetary gift. You can give a hug or a kiss. The best things in life are free!

I am Guru Jay launching off into orbit in 5-4-3-2-1!
